DRY NEEDLING

When is comes  Dry Needling  treatment some questions might come up and be confusing. Let us clarify a few points which help to identify the speacialty of this treatment.

Is Dry Needling same as Acupuncture: Dry Needling works within the muscles. Needle is inserted into a muscle around your paint point to release tightness, ease inflammation and promote healing.

Acupunture: needles are inserted into acupuncture points along meridians (or energy pathways) that run along your body. But both use a very thin needle.

Does it hurt? Inserting of a needle does not hurt, a needle is very thin and flexible, so patient doesn’t feel it. But patient may feel soreness or muscle ache while the therapist is moving the needle to find the tight muscle spot and muscle will twitch sometimes. 

What’s effect after and how long will result stay? You may feel  muscle soreness for 1-2 days after a treatment session and then the symptoms improvement. Pain relif effect vary individually for each patient, starting from several days onwards
